The Challenge

The requirements for Kumaran School’s auditorium were clear:

Compact, visually clean loudspeakers that blended into the space

The system needed to perform consistently across different event types without complex setup or technical oversight.

The Solution

Ansata designed a d&b audiotechnik sound system focused on clarity, control, and uniform coverage, with implementation carried out by Prabhath Enterprises.

The main reinforcement is handled by d&b Vi10P and Yi10P loudspeakers, selected for their precise directivity and excellent speech intelligibility. These loudspeakers ensure that spoken word and music reach every seat with equal clarity.

For low-frequency support during musical performances, B6 subwoofers provide tight, musical bass without overpowering the room. To maintain consistent SPL and tonal balance across the auditorium, 8S and 5S loudspeakers are used for fills and zone reinforcement, eliminating dead spots and ensuring seamless coverage.

The overall system design prioritizes speech clarity and musical balance, making it equally effective for formal assemblies and expressive cultural events.
