Active full range studio monitor
Because all real control rooms have at least one surface (a floor) the speaker low end (below 100Hz) is measured in half free space. This gives a fairly accurate estimation of a very large control room, with the speaker placed far from back and side walls. As the room size decreases, the amount of bass increases, which means that the smaller speaker models are particularly well suited to smaller rooms which will support the bass response of the speaker. In other words, the plotted frequency response corresponds to the minimum amount of bass you can expect in any control room.
Sealed dual cabinet
The internal bracing is designed both as a stiffening support structure as well as a physical energy dispersion filter. At the same time utilizing the mass of the sub-driver and how it is connected to the enclosure and bracing structure to control the resonance of the whole enclosure in a desired way.
Soffit mounting
Due to our sealed design the One25A is well suited for soffit mounting. The amplifier pack can be detached and separated from the speaker with a rack mountable Amp Pack version.
Protection circuit
One25A houses an overload protection circuitry which is only active when needed. Instead of muting or cutting the signal, the limiting circuitry is designed to keep the workflow undisturbed and music playing.
Boundary control
One25A’s boundary control system allows fine tuning the bass response in eight steps (+/- 7dB measured at 20Hz). The adjustment is a smooth shelf-type curve mostly operating at frequencies below 150Hz.

The baffle around the midrange is acoustically symmetrical, which leads to smooth frequency curve and precise imaging. Amphions proprietary 5th generation U/D/D improve driver integration and speaker performance in a room.
Isolated independent chambers
New midrange and tweeter are in an isolated sealed chamber which minimizes the bass woofer’s negative effects like pressure changes, leading to high midrange and treble resolution ensuring crystal clear transparency
Removable Amp Pack
Placing the amplifier inside the monitor negatively interferes with moving elements. All the electronics of One25A are housed outside the cabinet in a rigid steel enclosure, which is also removable for soffit mounting.
