This adapter is active signal balanced, which improves the suppression of induced electromagnetic noise. The common mode rejection ratio (CMRR) is greater than 60 dB from 50 Hz to 15 kHz. The adapter operates on 12 V phantom power but requires 48 V ± 4 V to achieve its full specifications.
