d&b Sound System Fundamentals Workshop

Event Details:

Location: Bangalore
Venue: ANSATA Bangalore
Time: 10 AM to 6 PM

Workshop Overview
Requirements

Participants should be experienced in tackling sound engineering problems and should want to acquire an introduction to the basics of the d&b software and system world. They should have experience in handling PC-based computer systems. Attendance of a d&b Basics Workshop or a d&b Product Workshop would be an advantage.

Please bring a laptop with an RJ45 network adapter. The laptop must meet the system requirements to run the d&b ArrayCalc and d&b R1 Software.

Check all system requirements at:

The Goal

Participants will learn about the d&b workflow and how to implement it. They will be guided on how to send all relevant parameters to the system using remote control software, covering the entire process from system planning and simulation to the final user interface.

Content
  • The d&b System Reality – Understanding what a d&b system consists of.

  • d&b Workflow Overview – Introduction to process flows for planning, simulation, remote networking, and data transfer to system amplifiers.

  • d&b ArrayCalc Planning Software – Learning why d&b system configurations should only be planned using the proprietary ArrayCalc simulation program.

  • d&b R1 and Remote Network Basics – Basics of remote network wiring and R1 Remote control software. Creating a remote control user interface manually and generating an intuitive R1 interface automatically from an existing ArrayCalc project.

  • Practical Session with d&b System Amplifiers – Participants will configure system amplifiers and connect/load generated system parameters.

Method

The workshop follows a hands-on approach, using practical examples and encouraging participants to share experiences and actively engage.

Documentation

Each participant will receive a folder and a USB stick containing all relevant documentation and software.

Certification

At the end of the event, every participant will receive a certificate of participation.
