Gain further understanding of the principles of electroacoustics for sound system design and engineering; the acoustic signal path from loudspeaker to listener, how loudspeakers interact with their environment and how to achieve good intelligibility for every seat in the house.

The session will look at sound ‘fun’damentals; frequency and wavelength, direct to diffuse ratios and what constitutes a well behaved (and badly behaved) loudspeaker.
