Setting the Scene

At Meta’s Gurugram office, collaboration happens everywhere: from focused huddle rooms and informal lounges to large all-hands and multipurpose event spaces. Designed with a clean, modern aesthetic, the workplace places equal emphasis on functionality, comfort, and visual simplicity.

To support this environment, the audio system needed to enhance communication and engagement without drawing attention to itself. Ansata, in collaboration with IdeasAhead as the system integration partner, worked closely with the project team to design a solution that delivered clarity and impact while blending seamlessly into the office interiors.

The Challenge

The brief called for an audio system that could perform across multiple use cases while remaining visually discreet. Key requirements included:

Consistent sound coverage without disrupting the modern office aesthetic
A low-profile solution for huddle areas, lounges, and flexible collaboration zones
Tight, controlled low-frequency support for town halls and internal events
A system that felt natural for speech, presentations, and background audio

The Solution

Working alongside IdeasAhead, Ansata designed a d&b audiotechnik-based solution tailored to Meta’s spatial and aesthetic requirements.

White d&b 8S loudspeakers were selected as the primary reinforcement, offering wide, natural dispersion and excellent speech intelligibility. Their compact form and color finish allow them to blend effortlessly into the office environment, preserving the clean visual language of the space.

For smaller zones and nearfield applications, 5S loudspeakers provide focused, consistent coverage without overpowering intimate areas. To support larger gatherings and internal events, 27S-SUB subwoofers deliver compact yet musical low-frequency extension. Mounted using horizontal brackets, the subs remain discreet while providing the low-end control needed for impactful presentations and all-hands sessions.

The overall system ensures uniform SPL distribution across zones, maintaining tonal balance whether the space is used for conversation, collaboration, or company-wide events.

The Result

The finished installation delivers clear, controlled, and unobtrusive sound across Meta’s Gurugram office. Speech remains intelligible in every setting, background audio feels natural and balanced, and events benefit from added depth and impact, without compromising the interior design.
