Christ University’s main auditorium—home to convocations, cultural festivals, orchestral concerts, international guest lectures and dramatic productions—has now received a major sonic upgrade. The institution partnered with Ansata and Reynold’s Sound & Lighting Services to enhance the audio experience with a state-of-the-art d&b audiotechnik system designed for clarity, precision and future-ready performance.
As audiences and productions have grown, the university wanted a system that could deliver consistent intelligibility for speeches, immersive musicality for performances and the dynamic flexibility needed for student-led shows. This goal set the foundation for one of the most advanced educational-institution audio installs in India.
The Vision Behind the Upgrade
The objective was clear: create a high-performance, visually unobtrusive sound system capable of delivering premium audio across all 2,000 seats. Much like the early planning seen in global d&b case studies, the Ansata team led the project with detailed acoustic simulations, coverage modelling and tuning strategies tailored specifically to the auditorium’s architecture.
Ansata collaborated closely with Reynold’s, ensuring that every technical detail—from rigging and placement to time alignment and voicing—was meticulously handled. The result is a system that feels transparent, powerful and evenly balanced throughout the hall.
