Renowned in the live sound industry, the proprietary LV1 mix engine leverages Waves’ Tech Grammy®-winning expertise in digital signal processing to deliver industry-leading sound quality.
Powered by Waves Signature Preamps
LV1 Classic’s 16 inputs are powered by original-design, digitally controlled Waves Signature Preamps. With fully discrete analog circuits, these pristine preamps deliver maximum clarity and headroom, an incredibly low noise floor, and lightning-fast transient response. The added HMX feature allows you to choose between pure transparent preamp sound and rich harmonic enhancement per input.
Connectivity Supports Diverse Setups
In addition to the 16 Waves Signature Preamp inputs, the back of the console includes 12 line outputs, 1 AES3 SRC in, 2 AES3 out, 4 SoundGrid ports (2 Ethercon + 2 Rj45), a Hi-power H/P output with ¼” jack + minijack, HDMI / 8 USBs / remote network, a 12v XLR4 lamp option, and dual power supply for redundancy.

LV1 Classic’s all-new tactile control surface is built for comfort and speed. The 17 newly designed motorized faders are designed for an organic feel, with optimal resistance to ensure both reliability and responsiveness. 17 multi-purpose encoders allow extensive customization of important mixer functions and user-defined actions, including mapped plugin control. Integrated LCD metering per channel provides extra instant visual feedback.
Powerful Processing Included
16 industry-favorite Waves processors come built into LV1 Classic, with processing handled by the console’s internal powerful DSP engine. Processors include F6 Dynamic EQ; Waves Tune Real-Time for live vocal tuning; X-FDBK and PSE for feedback and mic bleed control; the eMO D5, Q4 and F2 channel strip plugins covering dynamics, EQ and filtering; GEQ 30-band EQ; R-Comp; Magma Tube Channel Strip; H-Delay, R-Verb, TrueVerb, Doubler, and GTR3 for effects; and R-Bass for low end control.
All Processors Available on All Channels
Some digital mixers limit you to a pre-defined channel strip for processing. In LV1 Classic processors can be chained flexibly, on any channel, via the 8-slot processing rack per channel. All processors are available for use on all input channels and on all other mix channels—that is, directly on any channel or group/bus—for maximum control of your sound.
The Industry’s Deepest Processing Upgrades
The processing included in eMotion LV1 Classic is already powerful. But if you want yet more power, you can reach even deeper. Waves processors are staples in both studio production and live sound—and you can upgrade to your choice of over 160 live-optimized plugins, individually or in convenient Live Sound Bundles. Upgrades range from analog models of SSL, API and Abbey Road processors, to classic compression like CLA-2A and CLA-76, to Dugan auto-mixing.
Immersive In-Ear Mixing at the Click of a Button
Bring clarity, openness and comfort to in-ear monitors: The eMo IEM plugin is a software-only upgrade to LV1 consoles, turning your LV1 monitor outputs to immersive at the click of a button. No external hardware is required—simply set any of the LV1’s monitor outputs to IEM, and your performers will receive monitor sound in their in-ears, via the Waves MyMon remote control app for LV1.
Remote Control Apps and Personal Monitor Mixing
Control eMotion LV1 Classic from anywhere in the house: MixMirror gives you full remote control over your mixer & plugin settings from an iPad by mirroring the LV1 screen. MyFOH offers independent iPad control of the mixer levels, panning and sends from anywhere in the venue. MyMon gives performers mobile control over their own monitor mixes.

Powered by same Waves Signature Preamps as LV1 Classic’s own inputs, Waves IONIC stageboxes boast the same superior sound, with maximum headroom, exquisite dynamics, and an incredibly low noise floor. With IONIC 24 and IONIC 16, your LV1 Classic gets the pristine-sounding stageboxes it deserves.
Easy Scalability
Easily expand as you needs grow: eMotion LV1 Classic is built for easy expansion. Add more I/O with Waves IONIC stageboxes; more DSP if needed, with up to 3 additional SoundGrid servers (plus 4 more for backup); Dante and MADI expansions; an external touch screen; or more tactile fader banks. Easily network multiple LV1 Classic consoles at different mix positions (FOH, monitors, broadcast), with easy I/O sharing and real-time gain tracking.
