This is the phantom powered version of the d:dicate™ MMP4000-S Solid State Preamplifier. It is part of the versatile d:dicate™ Recording Microphone series, featuring modular design. This allows it to be separated from the d:dicate™ MMC4041 Large Diaphragm Microphone Capsule.

The solid state preamplifier holds a discrete transistor output stage and offers a totally linear and transparent signal path. It features a unique polarization generator (DC converter) for the 190 V polarization voltage for the d:dicate™ MMC4041 Large Diaphragm Microphone Capsule.

The low-noise output stage is driven as a class-A unity gain impedance converter. It conforms to standard 48V phantom power supply.
